St Joseph's college of Nursing is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences,offers B.Sc Nursing Degree Course.The college is equipped with excellent infrastructure,qualified and experienced teaching staff in order to bring out students with high calibre of character,Knowledge,and efficiency.Our hospital provides an excellent opportunity to complement the theoretical knowledge of the students by way of exposure to Modern Medical gadgets,interaction with the Doctors,Staffs Nurses and Patients.The Graduates of the Programme are thoroughly prepared scientifically and technically to take up position in the community and institutional Nursing Services.

St Joseph's college of Nursing is located just next to St.Philomena's Degree College which is 3 Kms from Mysore Suburban Bus Stand,4 Kms from Mysore Railway Station and on the Mysore-Bangalore Highway.The college has been equipped with solid infrastructure and facilities to provide education as per norms.Complemented by qualified and experienced faculty. St Joseph's ensures timely coverage of syllabus,supported by a number of activities including group discussions,seminars,and workshops.

Our library is stocked with a good number of Books and Journals.It has a combination of National and International books from best authors around the world.Helinet facilities are available for students and staff to update their knowledge.

Eligibility

Pass in 2 years Pre-University examination or equivalent as recognised by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences with Science subjects,viz Physics,Chemistry,Biology and English.
Obtained at least 45% of the total marks in science subjects of the qualifying examination.If belonging to scheduled caste or scheduled tribe should have obtained not less than 40% of the total marks of the qualifying examination(only for Karnataka Candidates)
Completed 17 years of age at the time of admission.

Curriculum

We are following the curriculum under Rajiv Gandhi Unviersity of Health Sciences Bangalore Karnataka for Basic B.Sc Nursing course which will make the student competent enough to practice anywhere in the world as a nurse.
